Can I talk to you one last time
Can I write you one last rhyme
Is and will your heart always be mine
Do I even cross your mind
I wish our last words were more kind
My memories become so sublime
My future is becoming blind
Faith is becoming so hard to find
My heart-rate declines
My dreams need to be redefined
My thoughts should be resigned
But our souls were forever made to stay align
You're chasing your dreams while I'm left behind
You wont even read this I utter with a sigh
Our love a victimless crime

My dearest Kate,
I’m sorry for everything; I’m sorry I can’t let go, that I can’t forget, that I can’t settle for just being friends, for loving you too much, for wanting another kiss, for wanting to make love to you again and again. Maybe you’ll get an email notification that I posted another post while lying in your bed and feel inclined to read this just for giggles. Maybe you’ll just mark this for delete. I hope you do continue to read these words I write just for you. I miss you more and more everyday and it’s starting to hurt. Always here, always true, stuck in time loving you…
